3-pc brown velveteen c/o jacket, skirt & shaped W band w/ asymmetrical double falls, black silk military braid across bodice front, back & at cuffs, attached silk bow at small of back, black ball buttons, draped skirt w/ snap front closure, lined in cream twill silk & crepe de chine, c. 1913, B 38”, L 18”, skirt W 25”, L 42”, belt Wd 26”, L 28”, (collar unfinished, few snacks, lining damaged, holes in belt); 2-pc brown wool w/ stamped silk velour collar & cuffs, cutaway style jacket w/ cross front closure & double box pleat peplum back, rows of self covered buttons to tabard & at back of skirt, lined in silk taffeta, c. 1915, label “Mayer Bros & Co. Washington DC”, B 36”, L 24”, skirt W 24”, L 38”, (few small holes/stains, repair at W band) both very good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.

PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. A fee of $15 ($25 for international shipments where customs forms are required) is charged for packing & handling of each lot. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
