1 Cleopatra inspired brown silk panne velvet evening gown w/ broad tulle brass nailhead studded collar & fitted cuff, deep keyhole CB, c. 1934, B 32”, W 26”, L 62”, (belt missing, 0.25” hole rt underarm, 1.75” tear CF hem, minor tarnish to studs & net backing, moderate wear around neck, loose stitching CB bodice opening, crushing to velvet); 1 royal blue silk velvet gown w/ round neck opening, wide neck yoke w/ rows of tucks & gel sequin rosettes, full sleeve, bias cut skirt, matching W sash, B 36”, W 27”, L 60”, (few tiny holes & 0.25”-1” wear spots throughout, subtle 1.5” repair left hem, some minor crushing to velvet, light imprinting from sequins onto CB bodice, some finish loss & minor damage to sequins w/ few missing) both very good.

PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. A fee of $15 ($25 for international shipments where customs forms are required) is charged for packing & handling of each lot. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
