3-pc ikat striped silk taffeta in brown, cream, blue & pink c/o long sleeve bodice w/ band collar, gored skirt, textile & sleeveless extended bodice orig. late 1850s re-made c. 1897, 1850s B 32”, L 24”, 1897 B 32”, L 15”, skirt W 24”, L 42”, (small holes/stains, f ew tears up to 1.5” skirt W, light SH discoloration/loose yoke stitching 1897 bodice, discoloration/shatter, 1850s bodice underarms w/ sleeves removed) Fair-good; 2-pc black fine silk faille w/ band collar, ruched & pleated lavender silk satin CF insert, ruched chiffon edging to double lapel & cuff, 1895, tagged “Robert Lee Powers”, B 34”, L 17”, skirt W 24”, L 41.5”, (light discoloration/wear, small tears waistband, tiny light marks CB skirt, minor iron shine) Excellent. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum.

PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. A fee of $15 ($25 for international shipments where customs forms are required) is charged for packing & handling of each lot. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
