1 visiting dress in blue & white silk gingham, pagoda sleeves w/ braided silk passementerie trim & tassels, thread rosette buttons to CF, box pleated ribbon flounce at skirt, bodice lined in twill cotton, skirt lined in glazed cotton, c. 1856, B 32”, W 22”, L 56”, (underarms shattered, visible repair CF bodice & lap, wear/discoloration, light stains up to 1.5”, few small holes, few missing closures); 1 hand sewn cinnamon, cream & black striped silk plaid w/ glass buttons, piping W & armscye, crimped silk fringe in tan & cream, mm lace collar, wool hemsaver & glazed cotton lining, c. 1853, B 33”, W 22”, L 58”, (shattering, small light stains, few minor repairs, wear to buttons, few seam openings) both good-very good.
