1 purple wool twill Quaker bonnet w/ machine diamond quilted brim & neck guard, wired brim, worn by Patience Johnson Chase c. 1860, depth 9.5", Wd 8", Ht 10", (wires poking out of brim & crown join, ribbon discoloration, tiny-0.75" wear spots/holes) good; 1 bronze silk satin bonnet w/ double tucked neck guard, flat bow at CB w/ bias trimmed ends, Quaker bonnet made in Salem, Iowa by Margaret Thompkins c. 1865, depth 9", Wd 7", Ht 10",( tiny-0.5" pulls/scuffs, ribbon ties stained/worn, 0.5"-1" holes & spot stains to lining or brim, small tape residue in brim, 1" pen mark inside brim) very good.
