1 hand sewn cotton wrapper in red, green, mauve & black shadow lozenge motif arranged in diagonal grid on ecru ground, stripes of scarlet, cinnamon, browns, & black down CF & to cuff edges, drawstring across back skirt gathers, fine printed cotton lining of tiny vine & seed motif, late 1840s, B 44”, W 42”, L 54”, (light stains, 3” repair back collar, discoloration, 2” blue ink marks CB below W & left SH, few small holes, missing right W tie) very good; 1 handsewn block printed cotton wrapper in vertical stripes of pixelated & frantic boteh motif on lozenge patterned ground w/ vertical dot & floral ribbon stripes, pagoda sleeves, collar & cuffs w/ narrow ruffled edge, early 1850s, B 46”, W 48”, L 45”, (staining, 0.75” tear left sleeve) good.
