Black wool riding habit w/ wool braid trim to collar, cuffs & peplum of fitted bodice, CF thread covered ball buttons to CF, cuffs, peplum & as closure of apron skirt, silk top hat w/ chenille dotted tulle to brim & quilted twill silk interior, label "R.H White & Co, Boston”, hat label “Victor Day and Company, London – Hollander & Co, Boston”, B 32”, L 17”, skirt W 22”, L 43”-55”, (missing buttons right cuff, expanded CF placket, wear to trim, few patches CB closures, light stains up to 3" lower skirt-hem , tiny holes), hat H 5.5”, L 10”, Circ. 20.5”, (light wear edge of crown & brim, creasing CF w/ 1” & 0.5” tears, few tears in tulle, surface dust, small snacks underside of brim, wear/shatter/discoloration to lining) Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
