1 silk satin & silk tulle w/ square neck, flared tulle sleeves & gathered tulle at W, bodice & diagonal tiered scalloped overskirt edged in concave & convex sequins, c. 1917, B 36”, W 26”, L 50”, (few missing beads, 1” opening right SH); 1 dusty rose patterned silk w/ fine black souffle & silk gauze w/ woven satin polka dots, silk satin ribbon, collar & cuff of mm lace, detachable gathered pink silk velvet cummerbund, c. 1913, B 38”, W 24”, L 54”, belt 28”, (few small tears/pulls); 1 black silk satin w/ silk net overlay embroidered w/ satin stitch & running thread work, triple row of ruffles at CB of skirt, c. 1912, B 38”, W 26”, L 52”, (holes up to 1”, few repairs in skirt) all very good. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.

PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. We have added personnel to our staff to pack and ship lots purchased by on-line Bidders. A fee of $15 ($25 for international shipments where customs forms are required) is charged for packing & handling of each lot. In addition, the actual cost of shipping & insurance will be charged to your account or invoiced to your Live Auctioneer account. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
