1 suede cloth w/ acorn drop buttons, French black silk velvet facing to convertible collar, silk satin lining, c. 1914, SH-SH 22”, B 44”, L 50”, (tiny spot stains/foxing esp. CF, seam strain & 1” openings at both SH, tiny snacks, some shatter to lining, 1 loose button) good; 1 fine brown wool broadcloth w/ dark green silk floss embroidery & raised ribbon applique in orange, purple & grey/green to front V-shaped patch pockets, decorative self-covered buttons from back left SH to hem, c. 1915, B 34”, W 35”, L 49”, (few pills & minor wear to trim, light discoloration SH & front left flap, repair inside hem, few tiny stains & holes, 1 missing button at hem) excellent. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.

PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. We have added personnel to our staff to pack and ship lots purchased by on-line Bidders. A fee of $15 ($25 for international shipments where customs forms are required) is charged for packing & handling of each lot. In addition, the actual cost of shipping & insurance will be charged to your account or invoiced to your Live Auctioneer account. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
