1 entirely handmade blue-black, pink & blue vertical & horizontal ribbon striped silk dress, silk covered shaped wooden buttons, skirt in multiple box pleats from W, glazed linen hem facing & wool hemsaver, B 32”, W 22”, L 55”, (sleeves modified in 1860s, minor wear, 1.25” x 1” L shaped mend at front right skirt, few light stains) excellent. Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum to benefit collections care, preservation and future acquisitions.
