Open robe of 1770s silk w/ sparse floral springs weft brocade on cream vertical patterned striped ground, triple box pleated cuff edging w/ fly fringe & elaborate woven edging, re-made in the 1840s w/ matching symmetrically pieced waistcoat hand sewn from original petticoat w/ notched lapel, functional front pockets, single side breast pocket & corded edging, robe B 32", W 22.5", L 48",34", L 17", (many tiny-0.5" holes, shatter spots & stains, broad light staining, underarms & hem stained/worn, 0.75" tear CB neckline) good- fair. Waistcoat CH 37", W 34", (stained/discolored, 1.75" stain CF, many tiny-0.25" spot stains, shattering to neckline) good.

PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
