1 cream party dress w/ embroidered floral openwork silk blend lace stitched into flared white silk chiffon floor length skirt & w/ chiffon edged off-the-SH drape, side zip closure, c. 1932, B 32”, W 26”, L 60”, (slip N/I, stains up to 3.5” skirt, repairs up to 5” in skirt & holes up to 0.75”, 0.5” hole in lace CB collar); 1 black hammered rayon crepe w/ truncated V neck w/ gathers over B & 3 spaghetti straps from edge of deep V back into SHs, fine ruched gathers across CB panel of skirt, self belt pulled through gold circlet & w/ snap closure at CF, short back train, mid 1930s, B 40”, W 28”, L 64”, (light underarm discoloration, few tiny-0.75” wear spots, few seam openings up to 2” at SS & W, 1” repair right hem) both very good. PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. A fee of $15 ($25 for international shipments where customs forms are required) is charged for packing & handling of each lot. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
