1 cotton wrapper of resist print brown & red drouget on purple ground, deep gathering at either side of CF opening to Hs, leg o’ mutton sleeves, shirt collar, fitted interior cotton bodice w/ calico buttons down CF, B 40”, W 36”, L 56”, (few loose stitches in ruffles, fading, minor hem wear, scattered holes up to 0.75” in skirt) good; 1 woven plaid cotton day dress in indigo & white w/ bodice gathered into dipped yoke at front & back, shirt collar, bias cut semi leg o’ mutton sleeves, skirt cartridge pleated into W, turned composition buttons down CF, late 1890s-1900, B 36”, W 24”, L 50”, (minor discoloration, light stains up to 2”, minor fading in skirt, wear to underarms, few tiny holes in skirt, 1.75” seam opening back left SH, W altered) very good.

PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. We have added personnel to our staff to pack and ship lots purchased by on-line Bidders. A fee of $15 ($25 for international shipments where customs forms are required) is charged for packing & handling of each lot. In addition, the actual cost of shipping & insurance will be charged to your account or invoiced to your Live Auctioneer account. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
