2-pc trained lingerie afternoon gown of tulle over Pina fiber w/ satin ribbon bows & double bias bands, c. 1879, B 34”, W 25”, L 58”-78”, petticoat W 24”, L 44”, (breaks in net up to 1.25”, many seam openings up to 7” b/t gathers, missing all closures, tears up to 5” petticoat seat); 2-pc mocha & chocolate silk taffeta visiting dress w/ abalone CF buttons, front panel & skirt tiers edged w/ shaped Van Dykes over knife pleated ruffle, fitted elongated bodice w/ decorative back tab & asymmetrical drapes, c. 1878, B 36”, W 26”, L 58”, skirt W 24”, L 42”, (light stains up to 1”, seam openings up to 8” in bodice, 1.5” tear CF & 1” base of CB seam, many tears up to 12” in underskirt, 8” of trim loose at hem) both fair-good. PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. A fee of $15 ($25 for international shipments where customs forms are required) is charged for packing & handling of each lot. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
