Silk satin w/ small sprig design, maroon velvet collar & sleeve openings, detachable long sleeves, blue changeante silk taffeta lining, L 48", (few tiny holes, few spot stains at left side near hem) very good.Emily Johnston, 1851-1942, m. Robert W de Forest, 1848-1931, both from prominent NYC blue-blood families. This dress likely belonged to Emily J de Forest's mother or grandmother.
