Orphrey panel originally from cope w/ various forms of gold thread embroidery including gaufrure, single thread or nué & other couching techniques on black silk velvet ground (mostly missing), 3 strap work framed medallions depicting Saint John the Evangelist, Saint James & Saint Barbara, re-mounted on red velvet w/ metallic corded edge, 11" x 58", (very worn, lamé tarnished, extensive lamé & velvet ground loss, backing detaching 3.5" x 3", trim detaching, smoky) fair.
