White silk satin pieced in blocks, many w/ inked or embroidered Chinese characters, 4 blocks across top w/ classical male & female figures, antlered deer & woodland scene in center top worked in fine Peking knots, lotus & other flowers in side blocks, Wd37.75", L 28.75", (white satin dirty) very good. Sold for the benefit of the Brooklyn Museum.
