Complete set of toile bedroom hangings: 7 curtains, 7 valances & 1 bedspread of cotton copperplate printed w/ vignettes of flora, fauna & figures, 1 plain cotton canopy & 1 plain linen curtain, each curtain cinched 5 brass rings & lined w/ light brown cot ton, from The Reuben Bliss House period rooms, textile orig. c. 1761, construction c. 1944 by “Ernest Lonanno, New York”, textile designed & signed by “Robert Jones & Co, Old Ford, London”, active c. 1761-1780, curtains approx. 27”-29”x91”, valances 12.5- 16”x46”-77.5”, spread 68”x102”, (discoloration light-heavy, many repairs & darns up to 4”, lg patchwork repair elements to some panels, tiny-1.5” holes, bedspread thinning & tears to 6”, few stains to 1.5”, tarnish) Fair-good. PACKING/SHIPPING/INSURANCE: The cost of packing and shipping of purchased lots is the responsibility of the purchaser. All shipments are sent via UPS, FedEx or the United States Postal Service and insured for the hammer price. Lots won by successful online Bidders will be shipped automatically to the address provided on your Bidsquare registration form once shipping and packaging fees are paid. The total cost will be charged to the credit card on file or paid directly through Live Auctioneers. Due to the volume of shipping anticipated after the sales event, packing and shipping may require up to fourteen (14) business days from receipt of cleared payment. Once the package has been shipped, any shipping related issues or claims are between the shipper and the purchaser. Augusta Auction Co. shall not be responsible for any acts or omissions in the packing and shipping of purchased lots.
